Cyber Technolab employs a proactive approach to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning. Whilst data backups are valuable for recovering files, they are generally unsuitable for recovery in a disaster situation as the recovery, albeit possible, is too lengthy.

We review the technology in place. Taking into account the applications you are running, user activities and your return time objectives we come up with a plan to consider system fail over facilities, off-site storage of server images and cloud based systems. We document all decisions in the process and use best practice methodologies to come up with a plan considering all key components crucial to your recovery and a step by step process for your staff to follow to replicate what is required to keep your business up and running should the worst happen.

No disaster recovery plan is complete without regular testing which we insist on doing a test at least once per annum.
